Billing & Pricing

Mini Golf Scorecards uses simple, usage-based pricing. You only pay for what you use, and there is always a cap so costs never surprise you.

Free tier: 100 scorecards per month

Every venue gets 100 free scorecards per calendar month. No credit card is required to sign up or to use the free tier. This is enough for many smaller venues to run entirely for free.

If you stay within 100 scorecards, you will never be charged.

What counts as a billable scorecard

A scorecard is counted when a group starts a new round on one of your courses. Each round is one scorecard regardless of how many players are in the group or how many holes they complete.

Abandoned scorecards (started but never completed) still count toward your usage.

Pricing after the free tier

Once you exceed 100 scorecards in a calendar month, each additional scorecard costs $0.10. For example:

• 150 scorecards/month = 50 billable = $5.00
• 500 scorecards/month = 400 billable = $40.00
• 1,000 scorecards/month = 900 billable = $90.00

Monthly cap: $99/month

No matter how many scorecards your venue runs, you will never pay more than $99 per month. Once your bill reaches $99, every additional scorecard for the rest of the month is free.

The cap kicks in at around 1,090 scorecards in a month (100 free + 990 at $0.10 each) — well past most venues’ busiest months.

Setting up billing

You do not need to add a payment method until you are ready. When your usage approaches the free tier limit, you will see a prompt on your dashboard to add billing details.

1. Go to Billing in your dashboard.
2. Click Add Payment Method.
3. Pay with a card or with Stripe Link — both go through our secure Stripe-powered checkout.
4. Once saved, billing is active and you’ll only be charged for usage beyond 100 scorecards.

You can update your card, change billing email, view receipts, or cancel at any time from the Update link on the Billing page — it opens the Stripe customer portal.

Viewing invoices

Past invoices are available on the Billing page. Each invoice shows the number of scorecards played, the number of billable scorecards, and the total charge. You can download invoices as PDF for your records.

Billing cycle

Billing follows the calendar month. Usage resets on the 1st of each month at midnight UTC. Invoices are generated and charged on the 1st for the previous month's usage.
